THE MIRACLE OF OPEN DOORS

I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name”(Revelation‬ 3:8,NKJV).

Underdtaning Open Doors

Doors are intentionally designed to regulate access to a desired destination or otherwise. When you don’t want just any person to have access to your house for example, you lock up the doors and only open to approved guests who come at convenient times. A locked door signifies denied access. People lock their door to protect their valuables. When one has a treasure or something of value, he usually stores such in a locked enclosure for safe keeping. An “open door” into the new year speaks of a divine access to new possibilities for those who would trust Him and follow His leading.
God has planned big for you in the new year and now invites you to take advantage of the opportunities the new year promises and upgrade your status in life. Every new year comes with new opportunities and possibilities God designed for our benefit. Those divine opportunities and possibilities are like well-guarded treasures that God gives only to those who prayerfully demand for them. God promises in Isaiah saying, “I will give you the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places, that you may know that I, the LORD, Who call you by your name, Am the God of Israel” (Isaiah 45:3). God will grant us an open door of revelation to discover hidden treasure this year that will enable us to serve Him better and smarter..

God’s open door of grace offers mercy, anointing & abundance. Trust Him & stay committed to His word.

The Open Door Of Grace

God says to you, “See, I have set before you an open door!” This is an open door of grace. You did not earn it nor could afford it. It was extended to you as a testimony of God’s mercy. Your key qualification here is your lack of strength or wherewithal to earn it without God – “for you have a little strength.” Those who acknowledge they have little or no strength to fight the battles of life alone are wont to depend on God and make much of His grace.

Paul testifies, “But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me” (1 Corinthians 15:10). God’s grace is never for the highest bidder but always only for the humble seeker. The more dependent one is to God, the more grace avails for him. The door of grace is not opened for the strongest but for the humble “for God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble”(1Peter‬

5:5). To such that trust and depend on His grace, the invitation goes:
“So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.” (Hebrews 4:16 NLT). The door of grace is perpetually open for all. No force outside of God can ever close it. It is open for the best as well as for the worst of us. God is constantly offering mercy and grace to all who are conscious of their needs for such.

The Miracle of Grace

You must be willing to serve God without reservation in this day of His power. The nations in view here mean tribes and tongues of people; that is people in their language grouping and dialects. This could mean your village, your clan or your kindred. You must plan to make sure that you personally take the gospel to your people in this year of God’s power. God’s subsisting desire is for the earth to be filled with the knowledge of His glory as waters cover the sea (Habakkuk 2:14). As we begin this year, let us do so reflecting on this all important assignment God has given to us. This is our year of Victorious Faith –not faith for bread and butter merely, but faith for the Kingdom advancement.

As we seek the growth of the kingdom of God, He will cause all the bread and butter that we crave for to be readily supplied to us in overflowing proportion. Lay out your plan now on how to win your family, friends and village for Christ. Present it before God in prayers and faith will be born in you for its execution. God will raise the work force to go with you. He will invigorate you with grace and renew your strength each day like the morning dew. The Message Bible rendering of our text reads, “Your people will freely join you, resplendent in holy armour on the great day of your conquest, Join you at the fresh break of day, join you with all the vigour of youth” (Psalm 110:3).

God will cause His word to come to pass as you step out in faith to conquer your world for Him in Jesus name. Happy New year!
